This Privacy Policy describes how 1561935 B.C. LTD. (doing business as Bibidi)
(“Bibidi”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and discloses your personal information
when you use our app, website or related services (the “Platform”).
This Privacy Policy applies to individuals who share their personal information with
Bibidi including users who create an account, request or offer services, or communicate
with us through our Platform.


1. WHAT PERSONAL INFORMATION DOES BIBIDI COLLECT AND WHY?
Below, we explain what personal information Bibidi collects and why. As our business
evolves, we may collect additional personal information for the purposes described
here. Sometimes, such as when you sign up for a mailing list, we provide short,
just-in-time notices with more details. In most cases, collecting and using your personal
information is necessary to provide our services, respond to your requests, or meet our
legal obligations.
A. OVERVIEW
Account Registration:
When you create an account, we collect your name, email
address, phone number, and address. This information allows us to create and manage
your account, verify your eligibility to use the Platform, and communicate with you about
your account and services.


Identity and Applicant Verification (Veriff): As part of our trust and safety process, we
may require certain users to complete identity verification. Identity verification is
conducted through a third-party service provider, Veriff.


When identity verification is required, Veriff collects personal information such as your
date of birth, government-issued identification documents (for example, a passport or
driver’s license), selfies, and video recordings for verification purposes. This information
is collected and stored by Veriff and processed in accordance with Veriff’s privacy policy
and security practices.


Bibidi may access identity verification materials and results through Veriff’s secure
systems for purposes such as trust and safety reviews, fraud prevention, compliance,
and dispute resolution. Bibidi does not independently store or host copies of
government-issued identification documents within its own systems and relies on Veriff
to securely store and manage this information.

In-App Messages: We collect and store messages exchanged between customers and
service providers through the in-app chat feature. We use this information to operate
and deliver the chat service, facilitate communication between users, monitor for
prohibited or harmful content, support trust and safety processes, and assist in resolving
disputes or reports of inappropriate behavior.
Booking Information: When you post or respond to a task or job, we collect details such
as the time, date, and location of the service requested. If you are a service provider, we
also collect information about your offered services, rates, and skills. We use this
information to match users with appropriate service providers, manage bookings, and
facilitate service delivery.


Classifieds: Bibidi may allow users to create public classified advertisements to promote
their business or services. Information included in these listings—such as business
name, description, photos, location, and contact details provided by the user—may be
visible to other users or the public.


Users control what information they choose to include in classified listings and are
responsible for the accuracy and content of that information.
Payment Information (Stripe Connect): When you make or receive payments through
the Platform, we collect and share certain payment-related information with Stripe
Connect, our third-party payment processor. This may include your name, email
address, billing details, bank account information, payout details, and limited transaction
information (such as amounts, timestamps, and status).


We use this information to:
● process payments between customers and service providers
● authenticate your identity for payouts
● comply with financial, tax, and fraud-prevention requirements
● maintain secure transaction records


All payment information is processed and stored by Stripe. Bibidi does not collect or
store full credit card numbers or bank account numbers on its own systems.
Website and App Usage: We automatically collect data about how you use our website
and app through cookies and similar technologies. This may include device type,
browser, IP address, pages viewed, and preferences. We use this information to
operate and secure the Platform, understand usage patterns, improve features, and
personalize your experience. Some cookies are essential for functionality, while others
can be managed in your settings.


B. TARGETED ADVERTISING
Bibidi does not currently use targeted advertising or personalized ad services. We may
introduce such features in future updates and will update this Privacy Policy accordingly.


C. EMAIL AND TEXT MARKETING (CASL)
We rely primarily on your express consent to send you marketing emails and text
messages. We use implied consent only in the limited cases permitted by Canada’s
anti-spam law (for example, if you have an existing business relationship with us within
the allowed time window). Every marketing message we send includes an easy way to
unsubscribe. You can also opt out of marketing communications at any time by emailing
us or contacting our Privacy Officer.


Please note, we may still send you service-related or transactional messages (such as
booking confirmations, account updates, or important notifications) where appropriate.


2. HOW DOES BIBIDI HANDLE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?
 

A. RETENTION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
We keep your personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes for
which it was collected, to meet legal requirements, or to protect our rights. In some
cases, we may anonymize your personal information so it can no longer be linked to
you. We may use anonymized or de-identified data for legitimate business purposes
without further notice or consent.
Ratings and reviews may be retained as long as your account remains active, or as
needed to ensure platform integrity and for trust and safety purposes.

 

B. FINANCIAL TRANSACTIONS AND PAYMENT SECURITY
All payments made through the Platform are processed by Stripe Connect, which
handles the secure storage of financial information, identity verification, fraud detection,
and payout operations. When a customer books a service, the payment amount is
charged and held by Stripe until the service provider marks the service as complete.
Stripe then releases the funds to the service provider based on its payout schedule.
Bibidi does not control or store your credit card details or banking information, and we
rely on Stripe’s security and compliance measures to protect your financial information.

 

C. SERVICE PROVIDERS
We use trusted third-party service providers to help us operate and maintain the
Platform, for example, cloud hosting, analytics, communications, and customer-support

tools. These providers may access personal information solely to perform services on
our behalf and are contractually required to safeguard it and use it only for the purposes
for which it was shared. These service providers may include identity verification
providers, payment processors, analytics services, and cloud infrastructure providers.
Bibidi may also provide limited personal information (such as your name and contact
details) to independent third-party service providers with whom you book or
communicate through the Platform, so they can perform the requested services.
Bibidi shares payment-related information with Stripe Connect solely for the purpose of
processing transactions, verifying identities, preventing fraud, and issuing payouts to
service providers. Stripe may require additional information from you (such as your date
of birth, bank account, or government ID) in accordance with its own legal and
compliance obligations. Stripe’s collection and use of your information are governed by
its own privacy policy,


Bibidi does not currently share data with advertising networks, or social-media
platforms. If you interact directly with an independent service provider, their own privacy
policy may also apply.


d. SECURITY
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your
personal information, based on its sensitivity. Examples include role-based access
controls, encryption, secure development practices, logging, vendor due diligence, and
incident response procedures. While we take these measures seriously, no system is
completely secure, and you use the Platform at your own risk.
Please do not send us sensitive personal information, such as financial or health
information, unless we specifically request it.


e. STORAGE AND INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS
Your personal information may be stored or accessed in Canada, the United States, or
other countries where our service providers are located. Privacy laws may differ in these
countries. We use contracts and safeguards to help protect your information. In limited
circumstances, your personal information may be disclosed if required by law (for
example, a court order or legal process). In such cases, our policy is to limit disclosure
to the minimum necessary.


3. YOUR RIGHTS AND HOW TO MAKE A REQUEST
You can ask us to access or correct your personal information, or to manage your
consent. We review each request individually and will let you know if we cannot fulfill
your request.

This website and app is made available by 1561935 B.C. LTD. (doing business as
Bibidi) (“Bibidi”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) at www.bibidi.ca and through our mobile application
(the “Platform”). The Platform provides information to users to assist users to discover,
request and arrange services (the “Services”) that are provided by independent third
party service providers. Bibidi acts solely as a facilitator and coordinator of such
bookings.
These terms of use and any other documents or terms expressly incorporated by
reference (the “Terms”) constitute a legal agreement between you and Bibidi and govern
your access to and use of the Platform. You, the user of the Platform (“you” or “User”),
confirm your acceptance of these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must
not use the Platform.


General Terms
Updates and Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right in our sole discretion to amend these Terms from time to time by
publishing an amended version of these Terms. All such amendments are effective
immediately when published and apply to your continued access to and use of the
Platform. Your continued access to and use of the Platform will be your acceptance of
any such amendments.


If any change to the Terms is unacceptable to you, you agree not to use the Platform.
Bibidi will provide notice of any material changes to the Terms by posting changes
within the Platform or by sending you an email notification, or by similar means.
Updates and Changes to Content of the Platform


The content of the Platform is subject to change, updates, or amendments without
notice at any time. We reserve the right in our sole discretion to modify any part of the
Platform at any time for any reason, or no reason, including by changing, withdrawing or

terminating, limiting or expanding the Platform or any features or functionalities on the
Platform.


While we strive to maintain reliable and continuous operation of the Platform, we do not
guarantee that the Platform will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free. Access
to the Platform may be suspended or restricted from time to time, including for
maintenance, upgrades, or technical issues. We will not be liable for any loss, damage,
or inconvenience resulting from any modification, suspension, or discontinuance of the
Platform.


Links to Other Sites
Other websites that can be accessed from this Platform by hypertext links are entirely
independent of the Platform. The inclusion of any site acknowledgments, identification
of any person or entity on the Platform, or any hypertext link to any other person or
entity shall not be construed as an endorsement of such person's or entity's website,
products, services, or contributions.


Bibidi is not responsible for the content, accuracy, legality, or safety of any third-party
websites, and your access to and use of such websites is at your own risk. We
recommend that you review the terms and privacy policies of any third-party websites
you visit.


Ownership Rights
The entire content of the Platform including all texts, data, charts, photographs, images,
software and all trademarks, brands and trade names used on the Platform are subject
to intellectual property rights, including copyrights, trademarks and patents held by
Bibidi. You are not permitted to use, copy, reproduce, or distribute any content from the
Platform without prior written permission from Bibidi. All intellectual property rights are
expressly reserved.


Security
You must not violate or attempt to violate the security of the Platform. This includes
actions such as accessing accounts or data you are not authorized to access, trying to
bypass security measures, disrupting the Platform or its services, or attempting to
obtain services you are not entitled to.


If the Platform allows you to create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the
confidentiality of your account information and password. You are responsible for all

activities that occur under your account. If you suspect unauthorized use of your
account, you must notify Bibidi immediately. Bibidi is not liable for any loss or damage
arising from your failure to protect your account credentials. Bibidi may disable any
account at its sole discretion for any reason, including violation of these Terms.
 

User Accounts and Verification
To access or provide services through the Platform, users may be required to create an
account and provide accurate, current, and complete information.


Bibidi may, at its discretion, require users to verify their identity before granting or
continuing access to certain features of the Platform. Verification may include submitting
photo identification or other documentation through a third-party identity verification
service provider, such as Veriff, for trust and safety purposes.


Bibidi reserves the right to approve, deny, suspend, or terminate any account if
information provided is false, incomplete, or cannot be verified.
Bibidi does not guarantee the identity of any user or service provider and is not
responsible for the conduct of users on or off the Platform.


Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Platform only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these
Terms. You must not:
● Violate any applicable federal, provincial, local, or international law or regulation;
● Infringe upon the intellectual property or legal rights of others;
● Provide any false, inaccurate, or misleading information;
● Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person
or entity;
● Use the Platform to transmit or upload any material that is unlawful, harmful,
threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, or otherwise
objectionable;
● Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Platform, accounts, or
systems; or
● Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the Platform or any networks connected
to the Platform.

User Generated Content
The Platform allows users to upload a profile photo for display in their account, to create
and display service listings describing the services they offer, and to exchange
messages with other users through the in-app chat feature.


Users are solely responsible for the content of any images, listings, or messages they
submit or transmit through the Platform, and for ensuring that they have the necessary
rights to use and share such content. You must not upload or send any material that is
defamatory, obscene, harassing, infringing, misleading, unlawful, or that contains
offensive, violent, or sexually explicit content.


Bibidi reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to monitor, review, or remove any
User-Generated Content including profile photos, listings, or chat messages that
violates these Terms, applicable law, or community standards, or that may harm other
users or Bibidi’s reputation. Bibidi may use automated tools and limited human review to
detect prohibited content.


Users may report inappropriate content or behavior by contacting hello@bibidi.ca or by
using in-app reporting tools, if available.


By uploading or submitting User-Generated Content, you grant Bibidi a limited,
non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, display, and use that content
solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Platform.


Classified Listings
The Platform may allow users to create classified listings or advertisements to promote
their services or businesses without using Bibidi’s booking or payment features.
Classified listings are intended for promotional and contact purposes only. Any
communication, agreements, or transactions that result from classified listings occur
directly between users and outside of the Platform.


Bibidi does not facilitate, control, monitor, or guarantee any off-platform transactions,
and is not responsible for payments, disputes, refunds, service quality, or outcomes
arising from classified listings.

Users are solely responsible for complying with applicable laws and for exercising
appropriate caution when communicating or transacting outside of the Platform.
 

Payment and Fees
The Platform facilitates secure in-app payment processing for Services through Stripe
Connect, a third-party payment services provider. When you make or receive payments
through the Platform, you authorize Bibidi and Stripe to process, transfer, and store
payment information as necessary to complete the transaction.


Service providers must complete Stripe’s onboarding requirements (including identity
verification and banking setup) to receive payouts. Payout timing, verification reviews,
and holds are governed solely by Stripe. By using the Platform, you agree to comply
with Stripe’s terms of service and any verification requirements that Stripe may impose.
When a customer books a service, the customer’s payment method is charged, and the
funds are held by Stripe until the service provider marks the service as complete.
Customers may cancel a booking through the Platform before the service begins. When
a cancellation occurs, Stripe will release or refund the held funds according to its rules
and processing timelines.


If a service has already started or a concern arises during or after the service, the
customer and service provider are responsible for resolving the matter directly between
themselves. Bibidi does not currently operate a formal dispute resolution or refund
determination process.


Bibidi may, at its discretion, assist in facilitating communication or reviewing reports of
misuse of the Platform, but Bibidi is not responsible for issuing refunds, resolving
service-related disputes, or determining whether a cancellation is valid. All refunds are
processed solely through Stripe Connect.


Bibidi may charge platform fees, service fees, or processing fees in connection with
transactions facilitated through the Platform. Any fees will be displayed before booking
confirmation.


Bibidi is not a bank, financial institution, or money services business, and does not hold
or control funds on your behalf. All payments, holds, and payouts are managed by
Stripe Connect.

Future Paid Features
Bibidi may introduce optional paid features or digital services within the Platform in the
future. If such features are offered within the mobile application, purchases will be
processed through the applicable app store in accordance with its policies.
Bibidi does not currently require in-app purchases for identity verification or classified
listings.


Relationship with Service Providers
You acknowledge and agree that the third party service providers of the Services are
independent contractors and are not employees, agents, or representatives of Bibidi.
When you book Services using the Platform, Bibidi will provide your information and
booking details to the relevant third party service provider of the Services. Bibidi does
not provide the Services and is not responsible for the acts, omissions, or performance
of any service provider of any Services. Bibidi does not endorse, guarantee, or warrant
the quality, safety, legality, or any other aspect of any Services provided by any service
provider.


Disclaimer
Your use of the Platform is entirely at your own risk. Without limiting the foregoing,
everything on the Platform, including without limitation, the marketplace for Services, is
provided to you “as is” and without any warranties, conditions, or implied terms of any
kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties or conditions of
title, merchantability, satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose, and
non-infringement. Bibidi does not warrant that the Platform or the Services will be
error-free, uninterrupted, secure, or free from viruses or other harmful components. The
information on the Platform is for general informational purposes only and does not
constitute advice.


To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bibidi will not be liable for any damages,
losses, injuries, claims, or liabilities arising out of or related to the Services provided by

third party service providers, including but not limited to any acts, errors, omissions, or
negligence of such service providers. Any disputes or claims regarding the Services
must be resolved directly between you and the third party service provider.
 

Exclusion of Liability
Your use of the Platform or any Services is at your sole risk, and you are responsible for
any costs associated with your use of the Platform and Services. Bibidi is not liable for
any damages of any kind related to your use of the Platform or Services. If you
experience any problems with your use of the Platform or Services, your sole remedy is
to stop using the Platform or Services, or contact the third party provider of the
Services.


In no event shall Bibidi or any of its directors, employees, agents, or representatives be
liable for any loss or damages arising out of or related to your access to or use of the
Platform or the Services, any linked websites, or any content, whether such loss or
damages are based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability, or
any other legal theory. This includes, without limitation, liability for direct, indirect,
special, punitive, incidental, or consequential damages. Bibidi’s total liability to you for
any claim arising out of or relating to the Platform or the Services will not exceed $1.
Bibidi provides the Platform for your personal information, communication, and
convenience. Due to local, national, or international restrictions, including technological
or legal limitations, not all features of the Platform may be accessible from your location,
and Bibidi assumes no responsibility for any inability or restricted ability to access or
use the Platform.


Bibidi is not responsible for late, lost, incomplete, misdirected, or stolen messages;
unavailable network or mobile connections; failed, incomplete, garbled, or delayed
computer transmissions; technical malfunctions or disturbances; or any other
communications failures or circumstances affecting, disrupting, or corrupting
communications. Bibidi is not responsible for any network fees or charges associated
with your use of the Platform.


Bibidi assumes no responsibility and shall not be liable for any damages to, or any
viruses affecting, your computer equipment, mobile device, or other property as a result
of your access to or use of the Platform or your downloading of any materials from the
Platform.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, in no event shall Bibidi be liable to you or any third
party for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any
loss of profits or revenues, arising out of or related to your use of the Platform or the
Services booked through the Platform, even if Bibidi has been advised of the possibility
of such damages.


Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations of liability, so some of
the above limitations may not apply to you.


Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Bibidi and its affiliates, and its and
their directors, officers, employees, agents, and representatives from and against any
and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable
lawyers’ fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Platform, the Services, your
interaction with providers of the Services, or your breach of any representation,
warranty, or other provision of these Terms.


Waiver and Severability
A waiver of any term of these Terms is effective only if it is in writing and signed by
Bibidi and is not a waiver of any other term. If any term of these Terms is found to be
invalid, illegal, or unenforceable in any jurisdiction, such invalidity, illegality, or
unenforceability will not affect, invalidate or render unenforceable: (i) any other
provisions in these Terms; or (ii) the same provision in any other jurisdiction.


Governing Law and Choice of Forum
These Terms and your use of the Platform are governed by the laws of the Province of
British Columbia and the laws of Canada. Any legal action or proceeding related to the
Platform or these Terms must be brought in the courts of British Columbia, and you
agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of those courts. You waive any objections to the
jurisdiction or venue of these courts.


Injunctive Relief
Notwithstanding any other provision of these Terms, Bibidi has the right to seek and
obtain injunctive relief, whether provisional, interim, or permanent, from any court of
competent jurisdiction to protect its trademarks, intellectual property rights, confidential
information, or to preserve the status quo pending resolution of any dispute.

Entire Agreement
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Bibidi regarding your
use of the Platform and replace any prior or current agreements, understandings, or
communications, whether written or oral.


Assignment
You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without
Bibidi’s prior written consent. Bibidi may assign these Terms at any time without notice.


Termination
These Terms are effective unless and until terminated by Bibidi. Bibidi may terminate
these Terms at any time without notice and may deny you access to the Platform for any
reason or no reason. Any obligations or liabilities incurred by you or Bibidi prior to the
termination date will survive the termination of these Terms.


Privacy
For information about how we collect and process your personal information, please see

By using the Platform, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your
personal information as described in our Privacy Policy.


No Emergency Services
Bibidi is not a substitute for emergency, medical, or licensed professional services.
If you are in danger, injured, or require urgent assistance, you should contact local
emergency services immediately.
The Platform is intended solely to facilitate connections for general, non-emergency
household or personal services.
