What is Bibidi?
Bibidi is your local connection for everyday help.
Whether it's yard work, moving a couch, fixing the tap, or tech help for Grandma, bibidi makes it easy to find reliable people nearby.

​Who can use bibidi?
Anyone! Families, busy professionals, seniors, students, anyone who needs help or wants to offer it.

Do I need an account to use Bibidi?
You'll need an account to book help, message helpers, make payments, and leave reviews. Signing up is quick and free.

Who can become a helper?
Helpers can be students, retirees, skilled tradespeople, or anyone who wants to offer services locally and meets our community standards.

What kinds of jobs can I find help for?
Anything from dump runs, snow shoveling, and fence painting to tutoring, tech help, house sitting, and more. Here is the list, it will continue to grow alongside the needs of the communities we serve.

What are the fees?
Free to join. For each booking, bibidi adds an 8% platform charge to both sides to keep payments secure and support our community.​ For example if a service is $100: The service provider earns $92 and the customer pays $108.

SAFETY​
Is bibidi safe to use?
Yes! Helpers can earn a “Verified” badge with ID, and you’ll always see ratings and reviews before booking.

Can I choose a verified helper?
Yes. Helpers who complete identity verification will get a “Verified” badge. You can filter to see only verified helpers.

Can I report concerns?
Yes. You can report any issue in the app, and our support team will follow up fast. Need help? Email us at hello@bibidi.ca.

Is there a review system?
Yes. After each job, both helpers and clients can leave honest reviews for each other. This helps build trust in the community.

PAYMENTS​
How do I pay for help?
You pay securely through Stripe in the bibidi app using a credit card or Apple Pay. No cash handling required.
Stripe is a trusted payment platform that encrypts your information and keeps every transaction secure.

Do I pay upfront?
Yes. When you book, the payment is securely held on your credit card. Once the service is completed, the payment is processed and released to the Service Provider. Processing times can vary based on banking and payment networks.

Do helpers set their own rates?
Yes. Helpers set their own pricing. You can compare different helpers and choose one that fits your needs and budget.

Is tipping allowed?
Yes. Tipping is optional and goes 100% to the helper.

SCHEDULING​
How do I book a job?
Once the app launches, you’ll be able to browse helpers, view their availability, and book directly in the app.

Can I schedule in advance?
Yes. Helper calendars are avaiable for viewing and can choose a time that works for you.
​
What if someone cancels?
You’ll be notified right away. You can rebook with someone else or choose to post your job publicly in the community classifieds.

Can I make changes to a scheduled job?
Yes. You can request changes through the app, but the helper must approve. Last-minute changes may affect availability.

What do my fees cover?
Your 8% helps keep bibidi running smoothly. It covers secure payments, general marketing to grow our community, oppertunities for spotlights and mini-spotlights, ongoing app improvements and updates, support for both sides, and the safety tools that keep our platform trusted.
How do I sign up?
Simply fill out this form, and when our app launches in the App Store, we’ll reach out to help you complete your profile. That way, you’ll be ready to start receiving bookings as soon as we go live to the Kelowna community this December!
