Service Providers - Who is bibidi for?

Designed and built right here in the Okanagan, bibidi is a local app that connects people with trusted helpers nearby - from tradespeople and tutors to dog walkers, cleaners, and more.
The platform brings the convenience of digital booking together with the reliability of real local connections. Whether you’re a professional, a side hustler, or a jack-of-all-trades, bibidi makes it easy to:
Offer your services to nearby customers
Set your own schedule and travel radius
Showcase your work and build trust through reviews
Get booked and paid directly through the app

So who are service providers and why would they be on the bibidi app?
We envision a bibidi service provider to be an individual or SMALL organization that has skills and availability but perhaps lacks a booking engine, payment system and effective marketing - all of which can be supported by the bibidi experience.
Think:
Someone with a large truck or flatbed - perfect for providing dump runs or moving furniture!
A cleaner who does not have a network in Kelowna but is eager to help
Someone who offers a home-based service like lashes or nails OR someone who will provide mobile services
A plumber who works 9-5 for a company but has availability in the evenings or weekends (or an ECE or daycare teacher looking to babysit on their personal time, etc)
College or even highschool students looking to earn extra cash (tutor, childcare, raking leaves!)
Bibidi’s tagline is ‘powered by people’ but what we aim to do is empower the people by giving those who have time and skill the ability to connect with community members seeking support.
Okay…
Who would NOT be a fit for bibidi?
Any provider that is already a company or who is already marketing may not be a fit for bibidi. Likely, an organization like this already has systems in place to support their business so the features of bibidi (like exposure, payment structure and booking calendar) aren’t as appealing because they aren’t needed.
Think of it like this: when Uber launched, it allowed people who had a decent car and enjoyed driving to be their own boss.
That is what bibidi will achieve.
